Ambassador Schieffer says no US-Japan FTA unless agriculture included:

According to a Kyodo News report, Ambassador Schieffer said at an annual US-Japan Business Council meeting held on Monday, November 13 that agriculture must be included in any talks if Japan and the U.S. are to discuss a free trade agreement. Kyodo quoted the Ambassador as saying, "Agriculture has to be part of negotiations, whether you call it a free trade agreement or an economic partnership agreement."
