Celebrating Our Nation’s Birth:
The American Embassy in Tokyo celebrated the Fourth of July with over 1,000
Japanese friends from government and business at the Ambassador’s Residence.
The American business community in Japan supported the event and 32 U.S.
food and drink associations contributed their products. The July Fourth
celebration provided a unique opportunity to showcase the warm hospitality
and a variety of food products to the Japanese people. Similar events were
held in consulates in Sapporo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Naha. (07/13/07)
