Science and Technology Advisor Speaks about Agricultural Biotechnology:
October 2, 2008
Dr. Nina Fedoroff, Science and Technology Advisor to the Secretary of State
and the Administrator of USAID, spoke October 2 at the Tokyo American Center
about the safety and necessity of technologically advanced agriculture
in meeting the world's food needs. Dr. Fedoroff, who is visiting Japan
October 1-8, met with government officials and academics in Tokyo before
traveling to Kyoto to participate in the Science and Technology in Society
Forum.
